About
Youβll come to see, I am a little obsessed with design and propertyβ¦ So this platform will hopefully share some knowledge from my experience in the industry so far, as well as look at how we as a collective can move forward into implementing more sustainable ideas into our ever changing homes.
Weβll also look at tips and tricks for first time (budget) travellers and how to get the most out of every day! For me, this is experiencing as much of the culture and architectural sites as possible (obviously). From these experiences we can learn how other countries already implement sustainable living on a day to day basis.
You can also follow (or join in some cases!) me on my journey to minimalism, travelling through countries and eventually buying my first home!
To jump straight in.. some of my favourite posts so far include cheap and cheerful long weekend trips, starting minimalism and my most recent trip to Vietnam.
All about me! Well, Iβm 25 and Iβm based on the outskirts of London, UK. I have always been a little obsessed with art and design - I was that odd kid that drew floor plans of houses for fun (to be honest with you.. I still do!). Straight out of school I then studied Interior Architecture & Design at Nottingham Trent University, where I met Ash..
My main man in life and travel. Now heβs not so keen on the design or minimalism side like me BUT heβs a pro with money and finding deals! Oh my soooo many deals!!! If youβre also into getting the best deal possible and living well in this crazy expensive world Iβll get him to feature some naughty deals or promo codes we find here and there.
Currently Iβm a Interior Architect at Bisset Adams where I focus on Commercial Retail and Public sector design. Some projects are featured here but jump over to Bisset Adams for more!
Anyway back to βOkay Kayleighβ (which coincidentally is what Ash says to me when heβs finally done hearing all my design chat). If you have any comments, questions or suggestions donβt hesitate to pop me an email and lets have a chat!
